Airsac® pumps and compressors enhance packaging efficiency with quick inflation of air cushioning materials, to provide excellent shock absorption and protection during shipping. The correct inflation level ensures that products remain safe from impacts and vibrations, significantly reducing damage during transit.
Easy to use, our pumps are designed to enable rapid packing operations. Their compact size means they can be easily integrated into existing packing lines without taking up too much space.
Airsac® offers a variety of pumps and compressors specifically designed for their inflation speed and efficiency. These include oil-Free compressors, which come with a 12 month warranty, are easy to use and designed for speed, making them a suitable choice for medium to high volume packing operations. For smaller low-usage operations, we can supply lightweight hand pumps.
Inflating Airsac® is a straightforward process, you can use an air compressor, air line or hand pump, depending on the size and type of Airsac you are using.
When using an air compressor or air line, the recommended pressure is 10psi / 0.6 bar. Increasing pressure risks overinflation, which could burst or deform the cells of the bag.
You can either insert your product into the Airsac before inflation (which we recommend for irregular shaped items) or, inflate then pack your product inside.
Simply open the Airsac valve, insert your chosen inflator nozzle and start inflation. Give the pack a gentle shake or press on the Airsac to make sure it provides adequate cushioning, when inflated enough just remove the nozzle and the valve will self-seal.
