Large transit cases are popular for shipping industrial parts, assemblies and finished products. They are also used for transporting specialist equipment and devices. They are particularly useful for medical, aerospace, and military applications, heavy engineering, and satellite transportation. However, there are suitable options for any large industrial items.
There are assorted options when choosing large transit containers. These include single trip timber cases, modular aluminium cases with honeycomb panels (DELTA) and even GRP (glass reinforced plastic). Alongside these custom fabricated options, there are a range of large rotationally moulded plastic cases too.
There is a substantial number of standard sized roto mould cases (plastic) available from Macfarlane Packaging. These are perfect for a wide range of applications, and low volumes. However, for a bespoke level of performance and specific features, you can use similar (and larger) cases by selecting DELTA, GRP, or large wooden transit containers. All of these are manufactured in-house to order in bespoke sizes, with a free design service available.
