Ripac Air Pillow Films & Systems

The Ripac Mistral systems are compact, on demand inflatable packaging machines designed to produce air cushions used for protective packaging. They convert film into air-filled packaging material that helps protect products during storage, handling and shipping.

Our Ripac Mistral systems come in two different sizes 4v4 Air Cushion System and 6v3 Air Cushion System.

The main purpose of the Ripac Mistral air cushion systems is to produce protective packaging material on demand that safeguards products during storage and transport.

They achieve this by inflating film into air cushions used for:

• Void filling – filling empty space in boxes to prevent movement
• Cushioning – protecting fragile items from impact and shock
• Wrapping – providing surface protection around products
• Blocking and bracing – stabilising goods inside packaging to stop shifting

The Ripad Mistral air cushion system is compatible with both ANEMOI and AEOLAS film ranges. This range of film covers cushioning, void filling, wrapping and blocking/bracing applications.

The purpose of AEOLAS® films is to provide on-demand protective packaging material that can be inflated into air cushions for securing products during storage and shipping.

• Protect goods in transit by absorbing shock and preventing damage
• Fill empty space (void fill) inside cartons to stop movement
• Stabilise products (blocking and bracing) so items don’t shift during transport
• Provide cushioning or wrapping, depending on the film type
• Improve packaging efficiency by producing lightweight protection only when needed
• Reduce packaging costs and waste by using minimal material made from recycled plastic

In short, AEOLAS® films turn recyclable plastic film into lightweight air packaging that protects products more efficiently and cost-effectively than traditional void fill materials.

ANEMOI® film provides multi-functional protective packaging once inflated into air quilt pads. Its structure is designed to protect products throughout handling, storage, and transit by reducing impact, movement and surface damage.

Once inflated, ANEMOI® air quilts create a cushioned barrier around products. This helps absorb shocks caused by:

• Drops during handling
• Vibration in delivery vehicles
• Impacts during loading and unloading

The air filled structure disperses force across the surface of the quilt, reducing the likelihood of product breakage.
