The UK Plastic Packaging Tax

The Plastic Packaging Tax will encourage us all to make more sustainable choices
We have a product range that makes those choices easier
The UK Plastic Packaging Tax came into force on 1st April 2022. On 1st April 2024, the tax increased to £217.85 per tonne on plastic packaging that does not contain a minimum of 30% recycled content.
Aimed at manufacturers and importers of plastic packaging, the plastic tax will filter through the supply chain, and encourage us all to make more sustainable choices when it comes to packaging. Macfarlane Packaging can help you prepare…
