Modular pallet boxes are cardboard boxes that have been designed to stack exactly on pallets.


At Macfarlane Packaging, we provide Euro pallet boxes, which are designed to stack in popular Euro pallet configurations.



There isn’t one set size for a Euro pallet box. You can use different size pallet box depending on your product.


For example, at Macfarlane Packaging, we offer our modular pallet boxes, which range from 286 x 252 x 305mm to 786 x 386 x 472mm. These can be used to pack a wide assortment of goods.


For large items, palletised containers, which feature a cardboard cap, sleeve and tray are available in different sizes up to 1170 x 770 x 660mm, which is a full 1/1 Europa pallet box.



The weight capacity of a modular Euro pallet box will depend on its size board grade.


Our range of pallet boxes can hold loads up to 30kg.



Yes, cardboard pallet boxes can be recycled.


Due to the fact they’re made from corrugated cardboard, they can be recycled in most kerbside recycling collections as well as industrial / commercial recycling collections.



Palletised containers are cardboard boxes that are attached to a pallet. At Macfarlane Packaging, our palletised containers feature a cardboard cap, sleeve and tray with a heat-treated timber pallet.


These pay also be referred to box pallets or pallet boxes with lids.


Pallet boxes with lids come in many different sizes.


Our range of palletised containers come in 1/1 UK pallet size, ½ UK pallet size, 1/1 Euro pallet size and ½ Euro pallet size.


Heavy duty and durable, our palletised containers can hold up to approximately 200kg.


The weight capacity of other palletised containers will depend on the type of pallet they use, as well as the corrugated boxes being used. For example, metal pallets can hold even heavier goods, whereas a corrugated pallet will be able to bear less weight.
