UPS approved bottle packaging, also called UPS approved spirits packaging, features a cardboard suspension pack that holds bottles of spirits or other beverage in place during transit.

The suspension feature stops the bottles from moving during transit and suspends them away from the outer packaging, minimising exposure to knocks and shocks.

This durable bottle packaging has been certified and tested by UPS, so it meets their stringent requirements for shipping. They’re so confident in it, that in the unlikely event one of your bottles does get damages, they will pay your damage claim if you have a UPS alcohol shipping account.

There are four different UPS approved spirit pack sizes available. The sizes of each type are shown below:

• Type A – maximum bottle dimensions 245 x 119 x 112 mm. Great for small and bulky bottles, typically gin and whisky.
• Type B – maximum bottle dimensions 270 x 175 x 90 mm. Ideal for wide and flat bottles, especially whisky bottles.
• Type C – maximum bottle dimensions 35 x 108 x 96 mm. For tall, long bottles of vodka, tequila, or gin.
• Type D – maximum bottle dimensions 318 x 98 x 90 mm. Perfect for traditional 70cl wine, spirits, and champagne bottles.
